Faltbarer Tapeabroller aus Wellpappe

Dieses Projekt entstand aus einer Kooperation mit einem deutschen Klebebandproduzenten, der ein neuartiges biologisch abbaubares Klebeband entwickelt hat. Der Abroller aus recycelter Wellpappe besticht dadurch, dass er gleichzeitig seine eigene Verpackung ist, bzw. sich aus dieser zusammenfalten lässt. Somit wird Material eingespart, da bestehendes genutzt und kein zusätzlicher Abroller benötigt wird. Passend zum Tape setzt er so auf Recycling und Verwertbarkeit. Der als Display gestaltete, ungefaltete Abroller trägt im Verkauf eine Tape-Rolle und bietet viel Platz zur Kommunikation von Produktinformationen. Eine steckbare Verbindungen minimiert Produktionsschritte und vereinfacht das Zusammensetzten. Im zusammengefalteten Zustand liegt der Fokus des Abrollers auf einfacher Handhabung sowie Stabilität und gewährleistet einfaches Nachgreifen des Tapes. Sobald dieses aufgebraucht ist, lassen sich Abroller und Klinge leicht und schnell trennen und in den Recycling-Kreislauf einbringen.

Foldable tape dispenser made from cardboard

This project emerged out of a cooperation with a German tape producer. The company developed a bio decomposable tape. Our aim was to create a matching dispenser. To generate a suitable dispenser, the goal was to use the tape's inevitable packaging and build a dispenser out of it. By transforming the cardboard packaging into a dispenser, we wanted to reduce as much waste and material as possible. The unfolded state of the dispenser should be easily produced. The packaging provides enough space for the customers to learn about the advantages of bio degradable tape and is a place of advertising and education itself. To minimize production steps and simplify the product, we created a pluggable connection. When folded, the dispenser's focus lies on simple handling and stability. Granting easy access to grab the tape. If the tape roll is empty, one could exchange the old one with a new one or rip the blade off and commonly recycle the dispenser.
