Zwei Fotografien, Doppelbelichtung mit einer Mittelformat Kamera

Im Wintersemester 22/23 beschäftigte ich mich mit dem Prozess der Doppelbelichtung in der analogen Fotografie in Verbindung mit dem Projekt „Bild als Material“ bei Prof.in Christine Erhard. Persönlich beschäftige ich mich mit individuellen Bewältigungsstrategien/Copingstrategien welche eine Art des Umgangs mit einem als bedeutsam und schwierig empfundenen Lebensereignisses oder einer Lebensphase darstellen. Ich verband diese beiden Themen, indem ich zum einen Menschen porträtierte, während sie ihre Copingstrategie ausführten und zum anderen, ohne dass sie sie ausführten. Zum Ende des Projektes entstanden Selbstporträts, die meinen Prozess des Arbeitens in der Fotografie als meine Copingstrategie abbildeten.

Two photos, double exposure with a medium format camera

In the winter semester 22/23 I dealt with the process of double exposure in analogue photography in connection with the project "Image as Material" with Prof. Christine Erhard. Personally, I dealt with individual coping strategies, which represent a way of dealing with a life event or phase of life that is perceived as significant and difficult. I combined these two themes by portraying people while they were executing their coping strategy and without them executing it. At the end of the project, self-portraits were created that depicted my process of working in photography as my coping strategy.
