Editorialdesign zum Thema Sammeln

In dem Textauszug "Zerstreute Dinge - Was sich sammeln kann und lässt" von dem Philosophen Manfred Sommer geht es, um den Versuch zu formulieren, ab wann etwas eine Sammlung, jemensch ein*e Sammler*in oder etwas sammelbar ist. In dem von mir gestalteten Heft zeige ich analoge schwarz-weiße Fotos von Architekturansammlungen wie Wände oder Treppen in Kiel. Mithilfe der Gestaltung des Textes wird das Architekturthema unterstrichen, indem er von Seite zu Seite größer werdende Räume bildet. Der Text dient somit als Raumbegrenzung für die Ansammlung an Fotos.

The text excerpt "Zerstreute Dinge - Was sich sammeln kann und lässt" by the philosopher Manfred Sommer deals with the attempt to formulate when something becomes a collection, someone becomes a collector, or something becomes collectible. In the magazine I designed, I showcase analog black and white photos of architectural collections in Kiel such as walls or stairs. Through the design of the text, the architectural theme is emphasized, as it forms increasingly larger spaces on each page. The text serves as a spatial boundary for the collection of photos.
