SL_NT Future Night Train Projekt

Es gibt kaum eine Form des Reisens, die historisch und kulturell so aufgeladen ist, wie die Fahrt im Nachtzug Das Projekt SL_NT (Silent Night Train) befasst sich mit der Zukunft des Reisens mit dem Nachtzug. Es wurden zwei Routen definiert, von Berlin nach Lissabon und von Stockholm nach Neapel. Der Fokus bei dem Projekt liegt dabei auf der Schlaf- und Reisequalität. Von der Buchung bis zur Ankunft wurden durch Customer-Journeys Schlüsselmomente identifiziert und im Design berücksichtigt. Von durchdachten Fahrplänen, mit humanem Boarding und Ankunftszeiten, genug Platz und Zeit an den Bahnsteigen. Einem futuristischen Exterieur und beruhigendem Interieur, welches einen durch smarte Features auf der Reise begleitet. Besonderes Augenmerk lag hier auf textilen Materialien im Interieur, die sowohl zur Schalldämpfung, als auch einer angenehmen Haptik und Optik beitragen. Durch große, smarte Fenster wird dabei der Blick in die vorbeiziehende Landschaft ermöglicht.

SL_NT Future Night Train Project

There is hardly any form of travel that is as historically and culturally loaded as travelling by night train. The SL_NT (Silent Night Train) project looks at the future of travelling by night train. Two routes have been defined from Berlin to Lisbon and from Stockholm to Naples. The focus of the project is on sleep and travel quality. From booking to arrival, key moments were identified through customer journeys and taken into account in the design process. From well considered timetables with humane boarding and arrival times, enough space and time at the platforms. A futuristic exterior and soothing interior that accompanies you on your journey with smart features. Particular attention was paid to the use of textile materials in the interior, which contribute to sound absorption as well as a pleasant haptic and visual appearance. Large smart windows provide a view of the passing landscape and create a real quality of travel on the night train.
