„Metavoice“ ist eine immersive VR-Installation, die uns in eine Welt entführt, in der wir unser körperliches Selbst verlieren und nur unsere Stimme behalten. Die Installation beleuchtet das Thema Stimme sowie die Frage der Körperlichkeit im Metaversum. Die Besucher*innen werden von einem Tourguide begrüßt und erleben körperlose Wesen, die menschliche Laute von sich geben. „Metavoice“ stellt die Frage, was passiert, wenn uns im Metaversum nur noch unsere Stimme aus unserer analogen Welt bleibt. Die Installation fordert uns auf, über die Bedeutung der menschlichen Stimme in unserer Kommunikation nachzudenken. Die Stimme hat nicht nur eine praktische Bedeutung, sondern kann vielmehr auch politisch relevant werden, wenn wir in die entsprechenden Diskurse eintreten. The installation poses the question of what role the human body plays in the metaverse when we acquire a new digital body.
