Die Ausstellung „talking to a stranger“ bringt Kunstwerke der Studierenden in den Dialog mit Arbeiten der Kieler „Sammlung Haus N" von Gunda und Peter Niemann. Das Besondere ist, dass an der Muthesius Kunsthochschule nicht nur das Produzieren von Kunst, sondern auch die inhaltliche Vermittlung und Reflexion einen großen Stellenwert einnehmen. Dem wird in dem Ausstellungsformat Rechnung getragen: Jeweils eine Position aus der Muthesius Kunsthochschule steht in einem künstlerischen Dialog zu einem Werk aus der Sammlung. Die Studierenden haben sich eingehend mit den ausgewählten Werken internationaler Künstler:innen der „Sammlung Haus N“ beschäftigt und darüber hinaus aktiv an der Planung und Kuration teilgenommen.

The exhibition "talking to a stranger" brings artworks by students into dialogue with works from the Kiel "Sammlung Haus N" by Gunda and Peter Niemann. The special feature is that at the Muthesius Academy of Art not only the production of art, but also the content-related mediation and reflection are of great importance. This is taken into account in the exhibition format: in each case, a position from the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts is in an artistic dialogue with a work from the collection. The students have studied the selected works of international artists from the "Sammlung Haus N" in detail and have also actively participated in the planning and curation.
