Alles beginnt mit dem Raum, neu eingezogene Wände richten den Blick auf das Innere der Architektur. So wird das Video als Projektion zu einem neuen Fenster. In dem entstandenen Video werden sieben gebaute Modellräume filmisch und fotografisch abgeschritten. Diese sind architektonisch angelehnt an das Prinzip des Ateliers. Weiße Wände, Betonböden, Pfeiler und Balken sind im Maßstab 1:10 übernommen. Unsaubere Stellen, Heißkleber, Lücken, schiefe Kanten oder deutlich bemaltes bringen diese Räume zum Rauschen. Etwas an ihnen stimmt nicht. In ihrer Kargheit deuten sie mit wenigen, einfachen Objekten Ateliersituationen und Ateliertätigkeiten an. In der Videoarbeit wird einerseits ein virtueller Raum, gebaut aus ganz analogem Material, eröffnet. Gleichzeitig erweitert sich der vorhandene, tatsächliche Raum, der formale Überschneidungen zu den Modellräumen aufweist.

Everything starts with space. Walls are erected within it, which direct the view towards the interior of the space. Thus, the video as a projection becomes a source of light for the space and offers the possibility of a new perspective. The video on the wall thus becomes a new window. In the resulting video, seven constructed model rooms are walked through in film and photography. These are architecturally based on the principle of the studio. White walls, concrete floors, pillars and beams are reproduced in a 1:10 scale. Unclean spots, hot glue, gaps, crooked edges or clearly painted areas create noise in the space. Something is not quite right about them. In their sparseness, they suggest studio situations and activities with a few simple objects. On the one hand, the video work opens up a virtual space built from entirely analog material. At the same time, the existing, actual space expands, which has formal overlaps with the model rooms.
