Dichtung ist nicht das A und O im Kino, aber sie ist ein wichtiges Element im Bereich der Filmkunst. In der Videoinstallation Piedra líquida reflektiert der Protagonist, das Erdöl, als bituminöse Substanz und mächtige Quelle industrieller Materialien, kurz in poetischer Form über sich selbst und über all jene, die es zu nutzen wussten. Piedra líquida ist der Name des Gedichts des venezolanischen Schriftstellers Mario Fernández, das auch in diesem Projekt erscheint.

Poetry is not the be-all and end-all of cinema, but it is an important element in film art. In the video installation Piedra líquida, the protagonist, petroleum, as a bituminous substance and powerful source of industrial materials, briefly reflects in poetic form on itself and on all those who knew how to use it. Piedra líquida is the name of the poem by the Venezuelan writer Mario Fernández, which also appears in this project.
