Raumplanung/ Dorfkultur/ Zukunfts-Labor

Vor dem Hintergrund des kriegsbedingten Rückbaus (1937) der Neuendorfer Kirchturmspitze haben wir uns auf eine Spurensuche begeben. Untersuchungsgegenstand war dieser Verlust & seine Bedingungen. Besonders wollten wir im Dorf aber die Frage provozieren, was an seine Stelle treten könnte. Der Wegfall des zentralen Orientierungspunktes im Dorf wurde zum Anlass, sich mit Perspektiven auf Dorf & Gemeinschaft auseinanderzusetzen. In versch. Workshops arbeiteten wir m. 3D-Scans, KI, Minecraft, Bau- & Schreibwerkstätten. Mit temporärer Zwischennutzungen des Kirchenbaus probierten wir künftige Nutzungskonzepte. Diese Sammlung mündete Ende 2022 in einer Ausstellung. Den roten Faden des Projekts bildete die Suche nach einer Zeitkapsel in der Kirchturmmauer. In einem kollektiven Schreibprozess wurde sie neu befüllt & eingemauert. 2023 erschlossen wir die ungenutzte Leichenhalle als neuen Treffpunkt im Ort, in dessen Nähe wir einen 5,50 m hohen Pavillon in Form der alten Kirchturmspitze bauten.

Spatial planning/ village culture/ future laboratory

Against the background of the war-related dismantling (1937) of the Neuendorf church spire, we started a search for traces. Our interest was this loss & its conditions. In particular, however, we wanted to provoke questions about what could take its place. The loss of the ‚central point of orientation‘ in the village became an occasion to examine perspectives on the village and on community. We worked on the triad of memories, present time & questions about the future w. different methods: In workshops (3D scans, AI, Minecraft, construction workshops, writing workshops). We tried to imagine new ways of using the building. This collection culminated in an exhibition Dez 2022. A central theme of the project was the search for a time capsule in the church tower. In a collective writing process, it was refilled and walled in. 2023, we opened up the unused mortuary as a new meeting place in the village - near which we built a 5.50m high pavilion in the shape of the old church spire.
